All Generations Will Call Me Blessed (Lk. 1: 48)

The self-revelation of God as love has initiated the adventure of the Judeo-Christian religious tradition. Experience demonstrates that love is demanding, and Divine Love all the more. Models are needed, saintly examples of persons who responded appropriately and consistently to Divine Love. In their achievement of sacrificial love, sinners find needed inspiration to accept the challenge to discipleship of Jesus Christ that is posed by the reception of the Sacrament of Baptism. This short book offers the Blessed Virgin Mary as the best model of Christian discipleship and holiness. Through a brief consideration of her human roles we may gain insight into the Christian vocation; a call to human wholeness and then to spiritual holiness.
