Religious diversity is no more a strange phenomenon in almost any corner of the globe while it once used to be some decades ago. The matter of how peacefully the followers of various religious beliefs and schools of thought get along with each other and live respectfully together through society has always been, and still is, a fundamental issue that requires to be carefully observed and factually studied not only in the context of a society but also in a greater scale in the world. This research is going to study Muslims-Christian coexistence in South Africa in the post- 9/11 era regarding the history, the nature, and fluctuations of their relations and whilst supposed in this study a peaceful example; observe as if it can be regarded as a successful interfaith interaction sample applicable to other African countries dealing with hostility between adherents of Islam and Christianity for decades and more specifically and desirably throughout the world.
