So What's It All About?

For centuries the Church year has been described by liturgical seasons. There is a wonderful flow from Advent through to Pentecost that helps us worship more profoundly as we focus in turn on aspects of Christ's life and ministry. In an age where so many are unchurched, seekers are often confused by the colours and symbols that some of us almost take for granted. They need some explanation as to why the Church's seasons are different to the secular calendar seasons of spring, summer, fall and winter. And even those who are long-time church goers may need a refresher course so that, along with the seekers, their worship experience may be more relevant and meaningful. It is the intention of these skits to provide not only information but also invitation to meet the Christ in every season of our lives.
